Welcome to ChatPat! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile app and related services (collectively, the "Services"). ChatPat has been created and is operated by Kaathphool Ventures LLP. By using ChatPat, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChatPat, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ChatPat. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Account

To access ChatPat, you may be required to sign in using a mobile number, Google, or Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, please contact us immediately.

4. Use of Services

ChatPat is an AI-based entertainment app that allows users to chat with fictional characters for fun, self-expression, and emotional exploration. By using the Services, you agree to use them only for lawful and appropriate purposes. You must not:

●     Use the Services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive activity.

●     Pretend to be someone else or misrepresent information.

●     Interfere with the functioning of the app or its servers.

●     Try to gain unauthorized access to any features or systems.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

ChatPat follows a freemium model. New users are offered limited free chats, after which they must purchase a subscription to continue.

●     ChatPat Plus (Paid Plan): Grants access to unlimited chats, memory-enabled conversations, and early access to exclusive characters.

●     Pricing details and subscription plans will be shown within the app at the time of purchase.

All transactions are securely processed through third-party app stores (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store). ChatPat does not store your payment information.

6. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

●     All app design, branding, and curated character experiences within ChatPat — including original prompts, character descriptions, and UI elements — are the intellectual property of Kaathphool Ventures LLP.

●     Chat content generated by the app may be powered by third-party AI models (such as OpenAI or Google). While users retain rights over their interactions, the underlying AI technology is not owned by Kaathphool Ventures LLP.

●     For characters inspired by public figures or fictional characters, ChatPat offers a transformative, parody, or fictionalized experience and makes no claim of ownership over such names, likenesses, or identities.

7. User-Generated Content

Some features of ChatPat may allow users to create or customize content (e.g., preferences or character suggestions). By submitting such content, you grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use it within the app.

You must not submit content that:

●     Is offensive, unlawful, or violates the rights of others.

●     Contains spam, malware, or deceptive content.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to ChatPat if you breach these Terms, misuse the Services, or engage in any behavior we deem harmful. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ChatPat is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, always available, or suitable for your needs. Use the app at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kaathphool Ventures LLP and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ChatPat.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kaathphool Ventures LLP harmless from any claims or disputes arising from your use of ChatPat or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted in the app with an updated effective date. Continued use of ChatPat after changes are published constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
